Where your donation goes
Three things, in order. Hosting and bandwidth, so the globe, the images, and the case files load quickly for everyone. Primary-source material, because doing a case properly often means buying or retrieving the actual books, reports, and declassified documents behind it rather than reposting a summary. And the research itself, which is the slow part: every entry is built and reviewed to one standard, with the work behind that standard set out on the method page.
